Christmas reflections

New Bond Street decorations reflected in this shop's window.

These large baubles move up and down in the centre of Selfridges.

One of Liberty's windows which this year features scenes from the Nutcracker at the Royal Ballet.

  2. Oh! to be in London at Christmas-time. I've never been into Selfridges but what a treat it would be to see it all decked out with baubles and glitz - they certainly make an effort to impress.

  3. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!" So lovely. Such a fun time of year.
By the way we are planning a return trip to Britain for next October. Tentative plan is to stop over in Sterling Scotland for a week using Untours to book the house, car, etc then drive south for another week with various stop over points yet to be worked out. Any suggestions for good BnBs?
